Legal Requirements

All companies and commercial establishments must comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations. 4 Square can assist you in complying by providing you with a full inspection and test service to ensure that all your electrical systems are safe.

Inspection Status

Appliances and electrical systems are tested in accordance with the latest IEE codes of practice. We can inspect and test all portable appliances in your business including all IT equipment, portable tools, microwave ovens, 110V and 415V equipment. Inspections are carried out by fully qualified and approved engineers holding the nationally recognised certification for such inspection work. Inspections can be completed outside office hours if this is more convenient.

Inspection Report

We will provide a report for each item of equipment inspected to enable your business to show compliance where necessary.

Repairs

We will repair minor faults free of charge prior to testing (e.g. fuse replacement, re-wire plug, etc.). We also carry stock to replace non-repairable items such as extension leads and IEC leads where any faults make it necessary for those to be replaced. Our service is centred on reducing downtime of your equipment.

Pricing

For larger workplaces we operate a simple cost per item pricing structure. For smaller businesses, there is a minimum charge (currently £50). Please contact us for a detailed and fixed quotation for your business.

Standard Pricing

• 1-100 Items : £1.50 per item
• 101-500 Items : £1.35 per item
• 501-1000 Items : £1.20 per item
