4 Square Engineering enjoys providing functional safety assessments (in accordance with IEC 61508, 61511, 62061) to assist clients in their determination of what process systems may require safety instrumented systems (SISs) for process control and emergency shutdown to restore plants to a safe state in the event of plant upset or operator error.
We can lead your process hazard analysis assessments (HAZOP, HAZCOM, HAZID) to identify what systems may require SISs and we have extensive experience in a wide field of industry sectors in doing so. We can also lead your SIL determination studies using risk graph, layers of protection analysis (LOPA) or fault tree analysis (FTA) to determine the safety integrity gap that exists.
